41 bonded laborers reached their home, hundreds of families forced to flee due to lack of work

In the presence of Collector Sanjay Kumar Mishra and SP Dharmaraj Meena, a batch of 41 laborers reached Panna on Saturday. All these laborers belong to Sakariya Gram Panchayat and went to Solapur in Maharashtra to work as laborers. These laborers were sent there through a contractor. The workers told that even after working for more than 1 month, neither they got wages nor their food was arranged. When somehow the administration got information about this, they were rescued from there. Many workers alleged that the contractor beat them up.
