The maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 35.0 degree Celsius on Sunday. It was one degree below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 18.6 degrees. Today in Rewa, Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Shahdol divisions, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Barwani, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Dewas, Sehore and Raisen districts. Purchase process forced to stop

Grain purchase postponed
In view of rain and hailstorm, the purchase of gram, lentil and mustard to be held on Monday at the minimum support price has been postponed. Purchase will be started as soon as the weather improves. This was stated by Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel during a dialogue with farmers on Sunday. At the same time, he has asked farmers to sell their produce only on the support price. The state government has stopped the wheat procurement process in Indore and Ujjain divisions. The government will announce the new date for starting it later. The purchase was to begin from 22 March. Wheat purchase date has been extended for the second time. Earlier, the government had prepared to start the procurement from March 15, but on March 12, due to the sudden weather disturbance and strong wind, rain, hailstorm, the government had to make the date March 22.
