Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will hold a collector-commissioner conference today at 11 am. The conference is being considered very important, because soon the civic bodies and panchayat elections are going to be held in the state.
In fact, in the last two meetings, six IAS and IPS officers have fallen foul. After the meeting, Betul and Guna Collector and Neemuch and Niwari SP were removed on the instructions of the Chief Minister. This action has been taken due to negligence in action against liquor mafia and adulterants.
Now in the meeting to be held before the election, the focus of the Chief Minister will be on illegal occupation and encroachment. Along with this, there will also be a review of law and order. The Chief Minister will take information about the distribution of nutritious food and supplementary nutritious food in the Anganwadis from the collectors. Similarly, during summer, we will also talk about the availability of water and the preparedness to deal with the drinking water crisis.
In the last meeting, the Chief Minister had warned the officers of many districts to work in a better way. On the basis of performance of the government’s priorities, grading of the top-5 and 5 percent districts is being done. In the last meeting, instructions were given from the Collector and Superintendents of Police of the affected districts to correct the performance.4 officers were removed
The Chief Minister held this conference on 8 February. At the end of the conference, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave instructions to remove the collector of two districts and the superintendent of police of two districts. This decision was taken by the Chief Minister due to negligence in action against liquor mafia and adulterants. The Chief Minister had given instructions to Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, besides Collector Betul Rakesh Singh and Neemuch Jitendra Singh, SP Niwari Vahini Singh and Guna Rajesh Singh should be removed with immediate effect.
