18 other satellites to be sent with Amazonia-1
The Indian Space Research Organization said in a statement here that PSLV-C51 is the 53rd mission of PSLV. With this rocket, 18 other satellites will also be sent into space along with Brazil’s Amazonia-1 satellite. The rocket will be launched from Sriharikota, about 100 km from Chennai.
The time to launch the rocket is 10:24 am on February 28, depending on the weather conditions.

The countdown started at 8.45 am. The PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) C51 / Amazonia-1 is the first dedicated commercial mission of ISRO’s commercial arm NewSpace India Limited (NSIL).

Satellite will provide data for analysis of agriculture
The statement about Amazonia-1 states that this satellite will provide remote sensing data to users for monitoring deforestation in the Amazon region and analysis of diverse agriculture in the Brazilian region and further strengthen the existing framework.
