The Shatabdi Express from Delhi to Dehradun caught fire on Saturday morning. However, there were no reports of any casualties in the incident. The cause of the fire is being reported as a short circuit. According to railway officials, the accident occurred after 12 noon on the Raiwala and Kansaro railways.
According to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, no passenger has been harmed in the accident. 02017 Up Shatabdi Express caught fire near Kansro station near Haridwar. In a short period of time, the fire completely caught the coach. Flames started rising from the windows of the coach.
The coach was separated from the train
Railway officials called the fire brigade as soon as the train caught fire. According to the railway, after the accident, the bogie which was on fire was cut off from the train and the train was sent forward.

Shatabdi train coach C-4 was completely gutted in this arson. There were no passengers in this coach. According to railway sources, this coach of the train empties itself in Haridwar. So there is no possibility of anyone in this coach.
