R. Madhavan, who had memorable performances in a hit film like Tanu Weds Manu, was selected as one of the best NCC cadets in Maharashtra after completing his Graduate in Electronics. After which Madhavan got a chance to go to England with seven NCC cadets and to train in the three wings (water, land, air) of the London Imperial Army as an honor there.
