With this, the farmers said that they will now talk about MRP, not MSP.
The farmers, who have been agitating against the three agricultural laws of the Center at Khatkad Toll in Jind district of Haryana for nearly two months, organized the Sarva Dharma Sammelan on Sunday. The conference was presided over by Satbir Pahalwan Barsola, the head of Sarva Jati Kheda Khap. In this meeting, the price of milk was reduced to hundred rupees per liter. Along with this, the farmers said that they will no longer talk for MRP but for MSP. The farmers have fixed this rate of milk by adding a profit of Rs. 5.85 to the milk. This MRP has been fixed by adding the base price of milk 35.50, green fodder 20.35, toddy 14.15, cow dung expenses 9.00 and 15.15 labor. Farmers say that this decision of MRP should have been taken long ago. Now the decision of MRP will also be taken for cereals and pulses.
Bhakiyu District President Azad Palawan said that by organizing the Sarva Dharma Sammelan at the Kisan Dharna site, the farmers have done the work of giving the message of ‘we are all one’ in the country and the state. He said, “The government should not try to divide us and cancel all the three agricultural laws, make laws to guarantee the minimum support price (MSP)”. People have become aware. The head of Sarva Jatiya Kheda Khap said that the farmers have been called to give milk at the rate of Rs 100 per liter on the government dairy.
