The pace of corona in the country is steadily increasing. In the last 24 hours, 47,009 were found infected. 21,206 recovered, while 213 died. In this way, the number of active cases, i.e. patients being treated, increased by 28,653 in a single day. In Maharashtra alone, 30,535 infected were found, which is by far the largest figure in the state of Corona. Earlier, on September 11, there were 24,886 cases, when it was the highest.

- In view of the increasing cases of corona in Chhattisgarh too, the state government has announced the closure of all schools, colleges and anganwadis till further orders. This has been confirmed by Minister of State Ravindra Choubey.
- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s corona report has come out positive. He has been admitted to the AIIMS Covid Center for Observation on Saturday. His condition is said to be stable.
- Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand to strictly follow the protocol at Kumbh Mela. He has written this letter after the high-level central team expressed concern after the Kumbh tour.
- Bhushan said that according to the report of the Central team, 10 to 20 pilgrims and 10 to 20 locals are getting infected every day. Despite this, the statistics of testing in Haridwar is not satisfactory. In such a situation, drastic steps should be taken to prevent the spread of corona.
11 states with the highest number of cases every day
1. Maharashtra: For the first time, more than 30 thousand patients were found in any state of the country.
On Sunday, 30,535 people were found corona infected. This is the largest figure since Corona’s inception. Earlier on 18 March, corona was confirmed among the highest 25,833 people. In the last 24 hours, 11,314 patients recovered and 99 died. So far, 24.79 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 22.14 lakh patients have been cured, while 53,399 infected have lost their lives. Currently, 2.10 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

2. Punjab: More than 2 thousand cases for the fifth consecutive day
On Sunday, 2,644 people were found corona infected and 1,331 patients recovered and 44 died. So far, 2.13 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 1.88 lakh patients have been cured, while 6,324 infected have lost their lives. Currently 18,257 patients are under treatment.

3. Kerala: More patients recover from new infections
On Sunday, 1,875 people were found corona infected and 2,251 patients recovered and 13 died. So far, 11.04 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 10.74 lakh have been cured, while 4,496 infected have lost their lives. 24,619 patients are undergoing treatment.

4. Karnataka: Active case beyond 13 thousand
On Sunday, 1,715 people were found corona infected and 1,048 patients recovered and 2 died. So far, 9.70 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh patients have been cured, while 12,434 infected have lost their lives. Currently 13,493 patients are undergoing treatment.

5. Gujarat: More than 1500 cases for the second consecutive day
On Sunday, 1,580 people were found corona infected and 989 patients recovered and 7 died. The state has become so infected in one day after 4 months. Earlier, on November 29 last year, 1564 patients were found. So far 2.87 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 2.75 lakh have been cured, while 4,450 patients died. 7,321 are undergoing treatment.

6. Madhya Pradesh: More than 1300 cases came in the past.
On Sunday, 1,322 people were found corona infected and 663 patients recovered and 3 died. So far, 2.75 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 2.63 lakh have been cured, while 3,906 patients died. 8,000 are undergoing treatment.

7. Chhattisgarh: thousand or more cases were found for the fourth consecutive day.
On Sunday, 1,000 people were found corona infected and 241 patients recovered and 10 died. More than thousand patients have been found here for the fourth consecutive day. So far, 3.24 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 3.11 lakh patients have been cured, while 3,950 infected have lost their lives. Currently, 8,442 patients are undergoing treatment.

8. Tamil Nadu: Nearly double the cases due to recovery
On Sunday, 1,289 people were found corona infected and 668 patients recovered and 9 died. So far, 8.66 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 8.46 lakh patients have been cured, while 12,599 infected have lost their lives. Currently 7,903 patients are undergoing treatment.

9. Haryana: Active case beyond 5 thousand
On Sunday, 867 people were found corona infected and 337 patients recovered and 5 died. So far 2.79 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 2.71 lakh patients have been cured, while 3,098 infected have lost their lives. Currently, 5,355 patients are undergoing treatment.

10. Delhi: More than 800 new patients found
On Sunday, 823 people were found corona infected and 613 patients recovered and one died. So far, 6.47 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 6.33 lakh have been cured, while 10,956 patients died. 3,618 are undergoing treatment.

11. Rajasthan: More than new patients recovering cases
On Sunday, 476 people were found corona infected and 199 patients were cured. During this time 2 people also died. So far, 3.25 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 3.19 lakh have been cured, while 2,798 patients died. 3,585 are undergoing treatment.
