Bandana’s father was a driver, who was responsible for raising four children. The father raised children by placing children in the house of his relative. At the same time, there was a new twist in his life. Bandana decided in her mind that she would do something for the children. They will give everything that Bandana herself and her siblings did not get in childhood.
In the initial phase, when Bandana took up the responsibility of raising orphaned children, people declared her insane. Loved ones also left But all the obstacles continued to work energy as an inspiration for the shutdown step by step. In the struggling life from 2005 to 2016, Bandana raised 40 children with no government help. In 2016, he was awarded the Manav Seva Award by the then President Late Pranab Mukherjee. Then the attitude of the people changed as well and loved ones also started supporting the bandhna.
Bandana is called the virgin mother of 40 children. She is also giving education to all children. While going ahead on her own, Bandana is taking the initiative to establish educational institutions at places where the government has not reached the sight till date. Even during the period of Korona period, praise for the work done by Bandana was all around. At the time of lockdown, he distributed sanitary pads from village to village, worrying about the girl child and women. Seeing his initiative, Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey and international net ball player also supported him.
Hearing the fame of Bandana’s works, in the month of February, present Speaker of Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha Ravindranath Mahato himself came to his ashram and praised that he came here and found spiritual peace.
