Pakistan is waiting for the free Indian Kovyshield vaccine, as it has to pay 2000 Pakistani rupees for every dose of sugar vaccine currently in use.
Neighboring country Pakistan will get Corona’s Made in India vaccine free. Pakistan will be supplied the vaccine under the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) agreement. Through this, 16 million (16 million) doses of vaccine will be given to Pakistan.
The GAVI agreement was reached with Pakistan in September 2020. Under this agreement, vaccines will be provided to many countries of the world. The vaccine will be delivered to Pakistan this month.
Waiting for free vaccine for vaccination
Pakistan’s Ministry of Health told the Public Accounts Committee of the country that free vaccine is being awaited under GAVI for vaccination in the country. At present, the Chinese company has to pay 13 dollars, ie, 2000 rupees Pakistani rupees for every dose of the cancellous bio-vaccine.

Serum Institute of India (SII) in India is producing Kovshield and Bharat Biotech Kovaxin.
