In Rajasthan, politics has been heated for the last two days on the issue of Religion of Tribals. The reason for this is Congress MLA Ganesh Ghoghra (Congress MLA Ganesh Ghoghra). He heated up the politics yesterday by saying that Adivasis are not Hindus. After that, the BJP has now become an attacker on the Congress.
On the other hand, on the demand of Ghoghara, only the tribal MLAs are divided. At the same time, BJP has attacked Congress on this. The BJP has demanded that the Congress make it clear whether it abides by Ghoghara’s demand or not. Ghoghara is also the state president of the Youth Congress.
There should be a law to show the religion of tribals separately
Ghoghara had said in the assembly a day before that the culture of tribals is different from that of Hindus. Adivasis are not Hindus. Hindu religion is being imposed on them. Ghoghara demanded that a separate religion code be made for the tribals. There should be a law to show the religion of tribals separately. Ghoghara warned that if this is not done, then they will demand a separate state for the tribals.Tribal Congress MLA divided over Ghoghra’s statement
Many tribal MLAs of Congress have come out in support of Ghoghara’s demand. But on the other hand some tribal MLAs of Congress rejected Ghoghara’s demand and said that they are Hindus. Now the BJP has also attacked the Congress on this issue. The BJP has asked that the Congress Party tell whether it considers the tribals as Hindus or not. The BJP said that the method and belief of worship in Hinduism may be different. This does not mean that Adivasis are not Hindus.
Congress seen in religious crisis after Ghoghra’s statement
After Ghoghara’s statement, the Congress seems to be in a crisis of religion. He neither supported nor opposed Ghoghara’s demand. The Congress said that freedom of expression belongs to the MLA as well. It is noteworthy that in Rajasthan’s tribal-dominated districts of Dungarpur, Banswara and Pratapgarh, the BTP party is spreading fast. The BTP slogan is ‘separate identity of tribals, different culture’. BTP has two MLAs from Dungarpur district. The Congress is afraid that the BTP may not take away its land in the tribal area. In this fear, the tribal MLAs of the Congress are now singing the melody of a different religion. But they are forgetting that they are promoting secession for political gains.
