The government is soon going to run a special campaign to eradicate anemia from the state. Under which the state is set to get anemia free in 1,000 days. For Anganwadi centers, the government has set a budget of 500.00 rupees (five hundred crores). It will be used for nutritious food for pregnant women, midwives and infants going to Anganwadi centers. Apart from this, the government has announced a provision of 250 crores for the Bari scheme.
