Ranchi News: Despite giving money, the absconding accused got the revenue employee killed in retaliation due to no mutation of the land. For this, criminals were given a betel nut of 1 lakh.
According to the police, the person giving betel nut, Upendra, is currently absconding, which is being raided in search of him. The whole matter is related to the mutation of land. Despite paying the mutation money, Upendra killed the revenue employee in retaliation for not having the mutation.
In this case, the police arrested accused Gyan Prakash Tiwari and Hrishikant Sharma from Garhwa, while Ashish Pandey and Manish Kumar from Ranchi. During interrogation, the accused revealed the matter of killing the betel nut. A revolver, a pistol, cartridges, mobiles and bikes were recovered from the accused.
Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha said that before committing the murder on February 12, the accused had recited Satyaprakash for two days. On the day of the incident, a criminal was also stationed outside Ratu zone office, who gave information about the exit of the revenue employee to his colleagues on WhatsApp. Then the associates shot and killed the revenue employee. SSP said that after the arrest of Upendra, the main accused in the case, the names of more people can be revealed. There may also be some white-collar in them. It is possible that other workers of Ratu Zone are also involved in the murder of the revenue worker, but the curtain is yet to rise from this.
