To compensate for this economic loss, the Jammu and Kashmir government is doing road shows in 21 cities of the country to attract domestic tourists. Indore is one of them. Officers and travel agents of Jammu and Kashmir tourism department attended the road show held in Indore.
The program started from Pune
The program started from Pune on 25 February. It was followed by a road show in Surat and Jaipur on 27 February, Kolkata and Amritsar on 1 March, Bhopal on 6 March and now in Indore, followed by a road show in Lakhnau and Varanasi on 13 March.
During the roadshow, people are being shown films of scenic and tourist spots of Jammu and Kashmir, and they are also being invited to come to the state to improve the economy of the state. It is being provided that tourism in Jammu and Kashmir is absolutely safe.
Through this roadshow, tourists will get to know about world famous religious places like Mata Vaishno Devi, Baba Amarnath, Shiva Khodi Cave, Suddhamahadev, Maantalai, Baba Budha Amarnath, Shahadra Sharif, Nangali Sahib, Machail Mata, Shankaracharya Temple of Srinagar, Kheerbhani and Hazratbal Apart from this, tourists can get a pleasant feeling at religious places like Shri Raghunath Temple, Mother Bave Wali Mata Temple, Jamwant Cave Pirkhoh, Puramandal Uttaravahini, Kameshwar Temple of Akhnoor and Jhiri in Jammu. Tourists were told about the hill stations of Patipat, Sanasar, Bhadarwah, Sarthal and Bani in Jammu in the lap of the Himalayas. The possibilities of tourism in Basohli, Bhadarwah, Kishtwar, Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu, Udhampur in Jammu The world’s largest tunnel dedicated to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the world’s highest bridge being built in Reasi, Ranjit Sagar lake in Kathua district, Baglihar lake, Mansar and Saruiser lakes of Jammu were told.
