Inspector Jayveer of Excise and Taxation Department said that he had received secret information that liquor was being served in a private palace of Ding without a permit. When he reached the Palace on this matter, he asked about the permit to serve liquor there. He was first threatened with a pistol. Later, when he tried to make photographs and videos of people drinking alcohol, about 10 to 12 people present there beat him up. He has given this information to Ding police station and has got his statement recorded.

Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer Naresh Kumar, who arrived at the hospital, said that when the driver, who went with Excise Inspector Jayveer of Ding Circle, pulled the pictures of the drunk people from the mobile, the people present there snatched the mobile from them and started beating them.
