Naxal Surrender: The Naxalites who surrendered said that the TSPC Naxalite organization has almost ceased to exist in Jharkhand.
Chatra The TSPC organization has suffered a major setback in Jharkhand. 10 lakh prize zonal commander Raghuvansh Ganjhu alias Chiretan and one lakh prize zonal commander Laxman Ganjhu alias Patthar surrendered with weapons in Chatra (Naxal Surrender). The two Naxalites surrendered before the SP office in the Collectorate at DC Divyanshu Jha, SP Rishabha Jha, CRPF-190 battalion Commandant Pawan Kumar Basan and SDPO Avinash Kumar.
Zonal Commander Raghuvansh surrendered a .303 bore rifle, 200 rounds of live magazine and 8mm live cartridges and Lakshman alias Patthar with a SLR, 145 rounds of 7.62mm live cartridges, three SLR magazines, uniform and ammunition. After the surrender, DC, SP and SDPO handed over a check for the prize money to the families of both the Naxalites.
Welcoming the surrendered Naxalites, the DC and SP said that leaving the path of Naxalism and taking advantage of the surrender policy, the door of the government has been opened for the Naxalites joining the mainstream. The government will not only give them the full benefit of the surrender policy, but will also prepare the development of their village house and give them the opportunity to develop. Only a few people are left in the organization. In such a situation, instead of carrying the flag of the organization, joining the mainstream and playing its role in development is the only option left before the Naxalites.
