new Delhi: If you all need blood at some time, then you too will be circling the blood bank. Or by now you must have seen people mourning for blood. But now you will not have to do this because scientists have now made A blood group a universal donor. If this process succeeds on a large scale, it will be a revolutionary change for mankind.

Scientists performed miracles
After a research, scientists now consider O blood group as well as A blood group as a universal donor. In fact, there was a problem due to the blood group of O group. So now people will not have to face anemia after this study. Scientists in Canada have transformed the A blood group into a universal donor through the use of a special bacterial enzyme.
A revolution in blood donation and transfusion may be on the horizon. That’s the goal of researchers studying a process that converts the common blood type into an more universally accepted type. https://t.co/k6OaBVrWQF #WorldHealthDay

Now A Blood Universal Accepter
Blood transfusions usually require a similar blood group. Or people of Universal Acceptor O Blood Group can give blood to anyone. But people with O group rarely meet. In this case, scientists have discovered microbes in the intestine, according to which the two types of enzymes are secreted. With this help, blood group A can be converted into a universal donor.
How A Blood Group Became a Universal Donor
This question will definitely come in your mind, how can this be possible? If a small enzyme is added to a unit of blood group A, it removes the sugar coating of its red blood cells. This finding is very important if seen on the basis of practical utility. If it is declared a universal donor, it will double the supply of blood in the country. The patients will not have to bleed for blood.

There are four blood groups in humans
There are four types of blood groups in humans – A, B, AB or O. They are identified by the sugar molecule particles present around the red blood cells (RBCs). If a person who has blood group A and is given blood of blood group B, then these sugar molecule particles called blood antigen attack the RBC. Due to this, the immune system stops working and in severe circumstances, human death can also occur.
