PLI scheme news : Today a good news has come from the government for the auto sector. The Central Government has announced the names of the companies selected for Auto PLI on Tuesday. About 95 companies have got the approval of Auto PLI. This includes the names of companies like Maruti Suzuki India and Hero MotoCorp.

On behalf of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, it has been said that the PLI scheme launched for auto mobiles and auto components has been a huge success and has received investment proposals of Rs 74,850 crore, while the government has made investment proposals of Rs 42,500 crore in 5 years. aimed to achieve.

Approval of applications of total 95 companies
The government has approved the applications of a total of 95 companies. Out of which the applications of 75 companies have been approved for auto components. The companies whose applications have been approved include the names of Bharat Forge, Sona BLW Precision Forgings, Tata Autocomp Systems, Tata Cummins, Tata Ficosa Automotive Systems, The Hi-Tech Gears, Toyota Industries Engine India, and Toyota Kirloskar.

Let us tell you that 2 such companies which are not yet engaged in the production of auto components have also got approval under the Auto PLI scheme. This includes the names of private tire maker Ceat and government company Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.

‘Component Champion Incentive Scheme’
The companies that have got approval under the PLI scheme are expected to invest Rs 29,834 crore under the ‘Component Champion Incentive Scheme’. Let us tell you that earlier on February 11, the ministry had approved the application of 20 auto mobile companies under the PLI scheme related to auto mobile manufacturing. This included the names of Tata Motors, Suzuki Motor Gujarat, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai and Kia India Pvt Ltd.

Union Minister of Heavy Industries Mahendra Nath Pandey has said that the huge success of the PLI scheme is an indication that the industries have confidence in becoming India’s world class manufacturing hub. This will serve to strengthen the Prime Minister’s resolve of self-reliant India.
