After the construction of this bypass road, tourism will get a boost in Himachal and Leh with less time to reach the China border.
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is getting construction of Pandoh Bypass Road on NH 21 Takoli section in Himachal Pradesh. Up to 75 percent of its construction work has been completed. 9 modern tunnels and a 140 meter long bridge are being built on the bypass. This bypass is being built on the banks of the Beas river. The work of connecting remote villages of Himachal Pradesh by road by the Central Government is going on continuously.
The bypass being built in Himachal Pradesh is also important from the contemporary point of view.

Infrastructure expert Vaibhav Dange says that this road is important from a contemporary point of view along with strengthening local connectivity.
