The thugs have now made a new tool to cheat people’s interest in this film. They lure people to watch movies for free by sending links through e-mails, social media sites and SMS. As soon as people click on that link, cyber criminals hack their mobile, after which they vacate their account.
A similar case has reached the police in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, in some other places, people are talking about withdrawing money from the bank account through the link of The Kashmir Files on social media. Noida’s ADCP Ranvijay Singh has tweeted and asked people to be careful. He wrote in the tweet- ‘Warning hackers can vacate your account by sending a link to Kashmiri files and send this message forward and help people to warn.’

Do not click on links sent by unknown person
If any link has come on your mobile to watch The Kashmir Files movie, then do not click on it.
Police has asked people to be careful not to click on any kind of link on their mobile, laptop. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner (Noida) Ranvijay Singh, the police have come to know that cyber fraud can send such malware on WhatsApp on the pretext of sharing the link of the newly released film ‘The Kashmir Files’. The ADCP said that in the recent past, there have been many incidents of cyber forgery by sending links. Meanwhile, some people have complained that a link is being sent to them in the name of Kashmir Files movie.

Avoid cheating like this
Do not click on unknown links of any kind.
Do not share any information when you get a call from any unknown person.
Do not share account number, OTP and PIN number etc. to anyone at all.
Keep changing the password of your Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram etc.
