Bank Holidays News : If you have any important work related to the bank in the month of March, then first know the list of holidays. Banks will be closed for about half a day i.e. 13 days in the month of March. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of Bank Holidays for February 2022.

In March, out of the total 13 days of bank holidays (Bank Holidays in February), 4 holidays are on Sundays. Many of these holidays are also going to fall continuously. Let us tell you that banks will not remain closed for 13 days across the country. According to the list of holidays given on the official website of RBI, these holidays are in different states. All these holidays will not be applicable in all the states. At the same time, according to the guidelines of RBI, banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month apart from Sundays.

March 1 (Mahashivratri) – Banks closed in other places except Agartala, Aizawl, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna and Shillong
March 3 (Losar) – Bank closed in Gangtok
March 4 (Chapchar Kut) – Bank closed in Aizawl
6th March (Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
March 12 (Saturday) – Second Saturday of the month
March 13 (Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
March 17 (Holika Dahan) – Banks closed in Dehradun, Kanpur, Lucknow and Ranchi
March 18 (Holi / Dhuleti / Dol Jatra) – Banks closed in places other than Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram
March 19 (2nd day of Holi / Yaosang) – Banks closed in Bhubaneswar, Imphal and Patna
March 20 (Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
March 22 (Bihar Day) – Bank closed in Patna
March 26 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday of the month
March 27 (Sunday) – Weekly Holiday
