He said, ‘Fixing the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of all the products in India is a big challenge. Not so in America. frequent purchases second challenge
Ashneer Grover says that the second major challenge of the grocery business is the way Indians buy groceries. In America and other countries, where people buy groceries for home only once a month. But, it is not so in India. People keep buying little things here. When Indians go to the market, they also buy a couple of grocery products among other things. Therefore, the average ticket size of the grocery app here is very less. On this also a discount has to be given and logistic expenses also have to be deducted. Because of this, setting up a grocery business here is a big challenge.
