Last week, 54 apps were banned
India has banned 54 Chinese mobile apps last week in view of issues related to security and privacy. These apps include Tencent XRiver, Nice Video Baidu and Viva Video Editor. The banned app allegedly collected sensitive information from users by obtaining critical approvals from them. These apps were misusing the information gathered from the users and sending it to the servers located in the hostile country.
