Its most special thing is that it has been made in a record time of just 30 days. National Highway for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) has opened an EV charging station in Sector 86 of Haryana’s commercial capital Gurugram. Gurugram now has the top two charging stations in the country.
The largest ever EV charging station was in Gurugram’s Sector 52, which was set up early last month and is also being operated by Alektrify.

The station has a total of 121 EV chargers and has a capacity to charge 1000 cars within 24 hours. AC chargers take up to 6 hours to charge an EV and can charge a total of four vehicles in a day. 95 such chargers can charge 570 EVs every day. Fast DC chargers can charge a vehicle in an hour and comfortably charge 24 EVs every day. 25 such DC chargers can charge 600 EV for 24 hours.

Two more big stations of the same level will be built in Noida within 60 days. Apart from this, 30 more stations will be built on Jaipur-Delhi-Agra highway within 90 days.

Sinha told that these charging stations will work like petrol pumps. Because wide-scale charging stations, which can charge 1000 and 576 cars in 24 hours, were not yet built in the country.
