new Delhi. MG Motor India is all set to launch the facelifted ZS EV. The MG ZS EV was first launched in India in early 2021 in January 2020. It is being relaunched with a few minor changes and update rates. The 2022 MG ZS EV facelift will be launched in India on March 7. The MG ZS EV is expected to get major cosmetic overhaul, new features and a bigger battery pack.

The MG ZS EV is expected to get a bigger battery pack with more range. While the current ZS EV gets a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery, the facelifted model could have a bigger 51kWh battery, which can offer a range of up to 480 km per charge. The current ZS EV generates 143 hp of power and 353 Nm of peak torque.

completely new look
The updated design of the MG ZS EV has been given a completely new look with some new electric specifications. On the other hand, in terms of cosmetic updates, it will get sleeker LED headlamps with daytime LED running lamps. The company claims that the MG ZS EV will be the most value-for-money electric SUV based on the UK’s globally popular platform. At the same time, it has the longest range SUV compared to any EV in India. On the other hand, if we talk about its rear look, then it will get revised LED taillamps and rear bumper.

ADAS feature and 360 degree camera can be given in the new EV. Like the Aster, a camera and radar setup can be given in it. Apart from this, the USP of Aster Robot Assistant can also be given on the dashboard of the EV. At the same time, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster can also be found in the EV. At the same time, the new MG ZS EV will get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system in its interior. The top variants will get new faux carbon fiber trim around the touchscreen. The climate control buttons have also been changed, which will be like the Aster.

this will be the price
The new EV will get a 51kWh battery pack. However, the company has not disclosed the range of many EVs. But the old EV used to get 44.5kWh, which gives a range of 415 km. From this it can be estimated that the range of the new EV can be more than this. The ex-showroom price of the current ZS EV ranges from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 25.18 lakh. On the other hand, after the arrival of the battery pack, its prices may see an increase.
