New Delhi. Former England captain Kevin Pietersen’s PAN card was lost somewhere. He needed it to travel to India. He sought help from India on Twitter and also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet. On this, the Income Tax Department also replied and told how they can get the PAN card back.
Pietersen has retired from international cricket and after that he regularly visits India to cover the Indian Premier League (IPL). Let us tell you that any person, including foreigners, who are earning in India, it is necessary to have a PAN card to pay tax. The Indian Income Tax Department also shared two links and replied to Peterson that if you have PAN card details, then you can get your physical PAN card by applying at these places.

Pietersen wrote this in the tweet
Pietersen tweeted in both English and English languages (Cricketer Kevin Pietersen Tweet). He wrote- “India please help, I have lost my PAN card and am traveling mon but need physical card for work. Can someone please refer me to someone I can contact as soon as possible to assist me?” Next, he tagged Prime Minister Modi in ‘CC’.

Responding to this tweet of Pietersen, the Indian Income Tax Department wrote – “If you have PAN card information, then you can get your physical PAN card by applying at these places.” Income Tax Department shared the link. These include ‘https://www.tin-nsdl.com/services/pan/pan-index.html’ and ‘https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN/mainform.html’.
Kevin Pietersen was quite satisfied with the response to Income Tax. While thanking the Income Tax Department, Peterson wrote- “Thank you for the information. I have emailed you. I have followed you too. If someone sends me a personal message, I want to talk to him about something.”

First of all log on to the Income Tax Department website https://www.incometax.gov.in/.
Here you have to click on ‘Instant E PAN’ option. If this option is not visible, then it will appear as soon as you click on Show More.
After the new page opens, click on the ‘New E PAN’ option here.
Enter your PAN number here. If you do not remember your PAN number, then enter your Aadhar number.
Read the terms and conditions given here and click on ‘Accept’.
An OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Confirm’.
Your PAN card will come in PDF format on your email id. You download this ‘e-Pan’.
Duplicate PAN card can be ordered
You can also get your new duplicate PAN card from the Income Tax Department. For this you have to visit the website of the department https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/ReprintEPan.html. Some information has to be given here. Duplicate PAN card can be ordered by correspondence or on the permanent address. For PAN card, you will have to pay Rs 93 + GST as a fee of Rs 110. At the same time, if you are living somewhere abroad and want to order there, then you will have to pay Rs 1011 including GST dispatch charge etc.
