Gujarat Budget 2022: The budget of Gujarat will be presented on March 3. At a time, when the demand for drone technology is increasing day by day, the Gujarat government is also preparing to announce the drone technology policy in the next assembly budget session. Apart from obtaining licenses for the use of drones in various sectors including agriculture, some other rules are also likely to be framed.
Drones can be used for spraying medicine in the field, monitoring the situation during storms and curfews, sending goods from one place to another. Drone technology is likely to become a source of employment in the coming days, as a result of which the state government can launch special drone flying courses.

Drones boost employment
The need for drone pilots will increase in the coming days, as the demand for drones is increasing in various sectors. In these circumstances, the government would like to promote drone technology with the aim of providing employment to educated youth.
The Gujarat government can announce the drone technology policy in the budget session of the Legislative Assembly. The Home Department has started preparations in this direction. Based on this policy, many rules like where to use drones, how to get a license, what precautions are to be taken, can be implemented.
Emphasis on use of drones in the Union Budget
The Modi government at the Center is making many efforts to increase the income of the farmers. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, presenting the budget for 2022-23, emphasized on the agriculture sector and announced subsidy for modern equipment, including drones. In a special drive aimed at helping farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 18 inaugurated 100 Kisan Drones for spraying pesticides on farms in various cities and towns of India through video conferencing. Navsari, Patan city of Gujarat was included.
