Hero launches great electric scooter with smart features, price starts from just 72,000


new Delhi. The country’s leading electric two-wheeler company Hero Electric has launched the electric scooter Hero Eddy in the Indian market. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 72,000.

The special thing about Hero Eddy is that it will get the best look as well as advanced features at a low price. This electric scooter will prove to be a great scooter for many tasks including urban runouts like coffee shops, grocery shopping.

Hero AD will get features like e-lock, find my bike, reverse mode, large boot space and follow me headlamps. All these features enable it to offer a hassle-free riding experience. Buyers will have the option of buying the Eddie electric scooter in two color schemes – Light Blue and Yellow. Plus, it won’t require any registration plate or license to ride the Eddie. Hero claims that it is a futuristic and stylish solution for personal last-mile mobility which is also pollution free.

Naveen Munjal, MD, Hero Electric, said at the launch of the Hero AD, “We are thrilled to launch the Hero AD which will have a tremendous on-road presence coupled with smart features and stylish looks. The scooter is designed keeping in mind the conscious efforts of the individual to contribute towards a carbon-free future coupled with a hassle-free riding experience. We are confident that the Hero AD will make a perfect alternative mobility choice, offering comfort and convenience.

Hero Electric is a power player in the electric two-wheeler space in India and recently announced that it is increasing the production capacity at its plant in Ludhiana to meet the growing demand for its products. The company also has more than 750 sales and service outlets across the country. and is working towards improving the charging infrastructure for its customers.
