new Delhi. Hero MotoCorp is going to launch its first electric two-wheeler in March 2022. The company’s CFO Niranjan Gupta said that the two-wheeler giant is also planning to launch a wide range of premium products. The automaker will launch its electric vehicles from the Chittoor production plant in Andhra Pradesh.

India’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has been working on its ambitious first electric vehicle project for quite some time. The company has already revealed the upcoming electric scooter last year. It will give tough competition to rivals like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1. On the company’s electric vehicle rollout plans, Gupta said Hero MotoCorp will cover all segments.

The company will also make charging station
Earlier, Hero MotoCorp and ‘Maharatna’ and Fortune Global 500 company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) had announced partnership. Through this, the two companies have collaborated to set up charging infrastructure for two-wheeler electric vehicles (EVs) across the country. This big step will help India get a big success in the direction of electrifying.
