North Eastern Railway (North Eastern Railway) work is being done to double the single line of its subordinate railway divisions. Doubling of line between Phephna-Chitbargaon-Tajpur Dehma-Karimuddinpur stations on Aundihar-Ballia section is being done by Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway.

According to Northeast Railway Spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh, pre-non-interlock and non-interlock work is being done on this rail route.
