new Delhi: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate a pilot project for Hydrogen based Modern Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) today. Toyota Kirloskar Motor in association with International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) has undertaken a pilot project to study and assess the world’s most advanced FCEV Toyota Mirai, which runs on hydrogen in Indian roads and climatic conditions.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate a pilot project for Hydrogen based Modern Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) on Wednesday. This information was given by the ministry in an official statement on Tuesday.
This will be a first of its kind project in the country which aims to spread awareness about Hydrogen, FCEV technology and its benefits to help Hydrogen based societies in India.
