new Delhi. IndiGo airline has announced to start 100 domestic flights to major cities of the country from Sunday, March 27. Indigo said in a statement that it will start flights on 20 routes from March 27 as part of the itinerary prepared for the summer. Not only this, it will resume its flights on 16 other air routes. Indigo has also talked about starting air service between Prayagraj and Lucknow under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS).
IndiGo’s Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer Sanjay Kumar said in a statement that with the introduction of new flights, IndiGo’s air operations will be strengthened and passengers will get better facilities. The company will continue to fly on new air routes according to the demand of travel. He said that due to normalization of air operations, while passengers will be comfortable, the business of airlines will also get a boost from this.

Flights will start on these routes
IndiGo airline said that it will operate Hubli-Hyderabad, Tirupati-Tiruchirappalli, Pune-Mangaluru, Pune-Visakhapatnam and Jammu-Varanasi. It is going to start flights on such routes. Sanjay Kumar said, these flights will strengthen intra-regional connectivity between North, East, South and West, as well as promote trade and tourism in these regions.

International flights also started from today
Due to Kovid-19, the ban on regular international flights in March 2020 has ended from 27 March. Six Indian airlines and 60 foreign airlines will start connecting India with 63 countries from today. The countries that are going to join India after the ban on international flight service are Iran, Malaysia, South Korea, Poland, Myanmar, Turkey, Yemen and Egypt.
Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for International Arrivals in India will continue to apply. According to the new summer schedule, foreign airlines will operate 1,783 weekly flights, while Indian airlines will operate 1,466 flights every week.
