If the information like mobile number and e-mail of your primary account will continue to be received from the new account, then only the account will be valid. Login to the Income Tax Portal using User ID Password.

-Go to My Account and click on ‘Refund/Demand Status’.

All the information will come in front of you. If the refund has not been done, then you can check the status immediately by going to ‘Reason’.
