Globally launched last year
The three-row Jeep Meridian, which was launched globally in August last year, went on sale for the first time in the South American markets, where it was renamed as the Jeep Commander. Meanwhile, India will be the only production center for right-hand-drive variants of the SUV for domestic sales and exports to other right-hand-drive (RHD) markets, as is the case with the RHD Compass.

Will get more wheelbase
Talking about the exteriors of the Meridian, these will include sleek, rectangular headlights, rested front and rear bumpers, an upright tailgate and slimmer tail-lamps. These changes will make the Meridian completely different from the two-row compass. Compared to the Compass, the length of the Meridian will be 364 mm and the wheelbase will be 158 mm longer.
