In January, the global engineering and product development digital services company announced plans to recruit more than 3,000 innovative people over a period of 12 months as part of its expanded talent recruitment program, a top company official said. Under this, the company had planned to increase its workforce in all the major markets of the world, besides in many states of the country such as Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Warren Harris, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tata Technologies said that this indicates the fact that we are not missing out on opportunities. We are in a supply side crunch, so the investments we are making are inclined towards building capacity and sort of capacity. He said that how successful the company has been in this area can be gauged from the fact that in the third quarter of the current financial year, we have recruited 1,500 people.
