The first ‘critical’ vulnerability
On its security update page, Apple has mentioned there was a vulnerability because of which application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple also said that it is “aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.” So it is highly recommended that Mac users download the latest OS update immediately.

Another vulnerability that has been fixed with macOS Monterey 12.3.1 is related to Intel Graphics Driver.

An out-of-bounds read issue may lead to the disclosure of kernel memory and was addressed with improved input validation,” Apple said. This too was a ‘critical’ vulnerability and users should update their Macs urgently.
Bluetooth controller issue fixed
As mentioned earlier, some Mac users had complained that their Bluetooth controllers were getting disconnected. Interestingly, Apple said that this might be because users were playing audio through some Beats headphones. The issue has been fixed with macOS Monterey 12.3.1.
External displays weren’t connecting
Another issue was that USB-C or Thunderbolt external displays were not turning on when connected to Mac mini (2018) as a second display. The issue has been fixed.
