new Delhi. Indian carmaker Mahindra (Mahindra) is soon going to launch the facelift model of its popular sub-compact SUV XUV300. Recently this new SUV has been spotted during testing. It is expected that this time many tremendous features are going to be available in XUV300.

When the SUV XUV300 is launched, it will take on the Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon. However, no official information has been given by the company so far. But, its features and specifications have come to the fore.

These new features will be available
The interiors of the XUV300 are also expected to see a facelift along with a few feature upgrades. The most prominent update will be a new touchscreen infotainment display with a new software interface. The display unit can offer higher resolution and sleeker graphics. It may also get some features like the Visteon-sourced AdrenoX infotainment suite found on the XUV700.

engine will be powerful
The engine of the new XUV300 is expected to be updated. Mahindra will offer the XUV300 a more powerful 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol motor that can pump out 130 power and 230 Nm of peak torque. This engine made its debut in the XUV300 Sportz Concept in the previous variant of AutoExpo in 2020. Mahindra offers a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine in the current model, which produces 110 PS and 200 Nm of torque.

Know when will it be launched?
Mahindra has confirmed that it will launch the XUV300 facelift in the markets by Q3 or Q4 of FY 2022-23. This means that the updated SUV could go on sale by the end of this year or early next year. The company is also preparing a fully electric version of the XUV300, which could be similar to the XUV300 facelift. It will compete with the updated Tata Nexon Electric.
