new Delhi. Mahindra Electric is going to launch three of its electric cars in July this year. Ahead of its recent launch, carmakers have already indicated what these EVs might look like from the outside. However, for the first time after the announcement of Mahindra’s upcoming electric cars, teaser has been done about what the interior of these electric vehicles will look like.

All three electric cars coming from Mahindra could be SUVs. It is expected that one of these could be an electric version of the XUV300. The teaser video of Mahindra Electric shows the cabin of the upcoming electric SUV.

Earlier in February, Mahindra had revealed its upcoming electric cars. This included three electric SUVs. Designed at Mahindra Advanced Design Studio in the UK, the teaser under the caption Born Electric shows the upcoming Mahindra Electric SUV, which will be unveiled in July this year. Mahindra had announced that it would launch a fully electric variant of the XUV300 SUV in India around the same time.

The teaser shows a large infotainment screen on the dashboard. It is similar to the AdrenoX unit Mahindra introduced in the XUV700 SUV last year. It is likely that the same unit will be seen in the upcoming electric cars from the brand. Apart from the infotainment screen, the hexagonal steering wheel will also be special in it. However, it is not clear whether this steering wheel will come in the production version of the EVs.

Mahindra currently sells the eVerito electric sedan in India. The carmaker had showcased several EVs and EV concept cars, including the eKUV100, at the Auto Expo in February 2020. Mahindra’s thrust in the passenger EV space is expected to further accelerate this segment. Currently, Tata Motors leads the EV four-wheeler segment in India with the Nexon EV and Tigor EV. They have a 96 percent share in the electric car segment.
