Market Update: Today on Wednesday, the Indian stock market remained volatile throughout the day. The market closed in Lala Nishan after losing its day’s lead in the last hours. Nifty closed below 17350, down 30.25 points. At the same time, the Sensex closed at 57996.68, down by 145.37 points.
Indian markets were open with an edge this morning. After the initial uptick, the market gained momentum and the Nifty had reached above 17400 with a gain of about 100 points. But amid the news of Russia-Ukraine, the market slipped below the day’s high in the last hour and closed below 17350.
Vedant Fashion : Vedanta Fashion, the owner of men’s celebration wear brand Manyavar, brushed off the gloom on Dalal Street with a listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 16 at Rs 931 with a premium of 8 per cent over the issue price. At around 12 noon, the stock is trading at Rs 954 with a strength of 10 percent.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has approved buyback of 4 crore shares (1.1%) equity through tender offer. This buyback offer has been placed at an offer price of Rs 4500 per share. The effect of reducing tension between Russia and Ukraine is also being seen on the forex market. On the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 75.24 against the dollar today and after that it showed strength. Let us inform that on February 15, the rupee had gained 28 paise and closed at the level of 75.32, going through the decline of the last 5 trading sessions. Meanwhile, the dollar index is seen at the level of 96.04 with a strength of 0.6 percent.
