new Delhi. MG Motor is going to launch its new electric car in India. The company has released a teaser regarding this. The British carmaker has shown the model wrapped in a cover. Although shared some glimpse of it through teaser video. The video shows the EV coming in orange color, which could be called the MG 4. It is believed that this electric car will be launched this year.
The electric car gets black ORVMs, black plastic body cladding, 17-inch alloy wheels, bold shoulder lines, sharp-looking taillights and a black roof among some of its exterior features. The length of the MG 4 electric SUV will be 4,300 mm.

MG Motor shared this video with a note that the UK premiere of a brand new 100% electric vehicle from MG is set for Q4 this year. However, according to the carmaker, this EV will be produced keeping in mind the British customers.

The teaser video of the electric SUV was posted on MG Motor’s social media handle with the hashtag ‘MGElectricforAll’. This suggests that the carmaker is looking to come up with an affordable electric car. MG Motor had earlier said that it will also bring a new affordable EV to the Indian markets this year. However, it is not clear whether MG Motor is planning to launch the same model in India as well.

MG is already offering the ZS EV as its only electric offering in India. In December last year, MG Motor India President and MD Rajeev Chaba had said, “In our endeavor to widen the reach to a wider customer segment, we will bring the second EV in the country, encouraged by the government’s clarity on the EV roadmap.
