new Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 WagonR facelift version (2022 WagonR facelift version) a few days back. Now the new WagonR has started reaching the dealership showroom of the company. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 5.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Its price goes up to Rs 7.10 lakh for its top-spec trim. A lot has been updated in the interior and design of the WagonR.
Compared to the previous model, the new WagonR has received many new updates inside and out. It has been given a fresh exterior which gives it a sporty look. Apart from this, many changes have been made in the features. Apart from this, a new engine has been used in the car, which makes it more powerful than before. The company has introduced it in four variants LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi + option.

These update features will be available
Talking about the new features in the updated WagonR, its petrol variant has been added with hill hold assist in ISS and AGS. Apart from this, the car gets 17.78 cm (7″) SmartPlay, studio, smartphone connectivity and navigation with 4 speakers. Apart from this, it will get cloud-based features to provide a connected driving experience to the customers. The car has also been offered in several new color options including two dual tone colors like Gallant Red with Black Roof and Magma Gray with Black Roof.
Factory fidget CNG kit will be available in both the variants
Interestingly, Maruti Suzuki has used this opportunity to revamp the variant line-up to offer an even better configuration to the buyers. The company has also introduced the new Tour H3 trim for the fleet customers. The option of factory fitted CNG will now be available in the VXi trim as well. However, the 1.2L petrol motor will be available only in the newly introduced ZXI+ trim.

better fuel efficiency
Maruti Suzuki has managed to compete with the fuel economy numbers of the WagonR with this update. The 1.0L three-cylinder motor with AMT box is claimed to deliver 25.19 kmpl, which is an increase of 15 per cent. The CNG trims of the WagonR, on the other hand, offer an additional 5% mileage in the new variant with a claimed 34.05 km/kg. Coming to the larger 1.2L motor, it now produces 88.7 Bhp of peak power while the claimed mileage is 24.43 kmpl with the AMT unit.
