According to a news of a business website, out of 3,057 shares, 2,758 have seen a decline, which means that 9 out of 10 stocks are trading on the red mark.
By the time of writing the news, the BSE Sensex had fallen by about 4%, while the Nifty has seen a decline of 3.70%. Apart from these, the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices are also running in the red mark.

The market capitalization of BSE has come down from Rs 256 lakh crore to Rs 246 crore. Since February 16, the market cap of BSC has declined by Rs 16 lakh crore. According to the information, a lower circuit has been installed in 1 out of 6 stocks today.
