new Delhi. You will not believe that a child studying in school has set up a company and in 2 years the company’s target is to get 100 crores. Yes, the position that Tilak Mehta of Mumbai achieved at a young age makes him different from the rest of the children. Tilak, who aspired to become an entrepreneur, started a logistics service company named Papers and Parcels (PnP). Paper & Parcel delivers small parcels.

company started like this
According to Tilak, last year I was in urgent need of some books from the other end of the city. Father came tired from work so I could not ask him for my work and there was no other that could be said. The company stood up by making this idea a business.

Tilak told this idea to a banker. The banker liked the idea and quit his job to take Tilak’s startup company to its conclusion as chief executive officer (CEO). Tilak took advantage of Mumbai’s vast network of dabbawalas to ensure that parcels reach their destination within 24 hours.

PNP’s services are mostly availed by clients like pathology labs, boutique shops and brokerage companies. Now Tilak Mehta has set a target of Rs 100 crore for the company by 2020. At the same time, he wants the company to expand to 20 percent in the logistics market.

How does the company work
PNP does its work through mobile application. About 200 employees were employed in the company before the Corona crisis. Along with this, more than 300 dabbawalas were also involved. With the help of the dabbawalas, the company was delivering more than 1200 parcels every hose. At the same time, only parcels up to a maximum of 3 kg were being delivered. Dabbawalas charge 40 to 180 rupees to deliver a parcel.
