Share Market Closing Bell: After 7 consecutive days of decline, Sensex made 1329 and Nifty made a huge jump of 410 points


new Delhi. Bounceback has been seen in the stock market after 7 days of decline. The March series started with a great edge and the Sensex-Nifty closed with a great edge. At the end of trading, the Sensex, the main index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), closed at 55,858.52 with a gain of 1,328.61 points, or 2.44 per cent. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed at 16,658.40 with a jump of 410.40 points or 2.53 percent.

Britannia Industries, Nestle India and HUL were the biggest losers of Nifty in Friday’s trade. On the other hand, Coal India, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Adani Ports and IndusInd Bank were the top gainers of Nifty.

Earlier on Thursday, the Sensex lost 2702.15 points or 4.72 per cent to close at 54,529.91 at the end of trading. At the same time, Nifty closed at 16247.95, down 815.30 points or 4.78 percent.
