Share Market Closing: Sensex slips 233 points, Nifty closed below 17200


new Delhi. The stock market opened on the green mark on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex started at the level of 57,784. With this, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) started trading at the level of 17,269. At the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 57,362.20, down 233.48 points, or 0.41 per cent. On the other hand, Nifty closed at 17,153 level, down 69.75 points or 0.40 percent.

Sensex had dropped 89.14 points a day earlier

In the previous session i.e. on Thursday, the BSE Sensex closed at 57595.68, down 89.14 points or 0.15 per cent. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17222.80, down 22.90 points or 0.13 per cent.

Ruchi Soya FPO Day 2: Offer 15% subscribed

The follow-on public offer (FPO) of Patanjali Group’s company Ruchi Soya Industries was 15 percent subscribed till the morning of March 25. The offer has received bids for 71.12 lakh shares, while the company is about to issue 4.89 crore shares. March 25 is the second day of this offer. One can invest in the company’s FPO till March 28.
