new Delhi. Czech car maker Skoda has once again made a big difference in the Indian market. The company has sold 4,503 cars last month. The biggest contribution in this comes from its popular car Skoda Slavia. The special thing is that Skoda has increased the tax by 428 percent compared to the cars sold in the same time period last year. In February last year, the company was able to sell only 853 cars.
Currently 5 models of the company are available for sale in India. This includes Slavia, Kushaq, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq. The company’s three-row SUV enters the Indian market through the CBU route under the limited-unit import rule. Interestingly, it is already sold out for now. Coming to the Slavia, the newest car from the brand, it fits into the C-segment sedan space, which gives tough competition to the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna.
