According to the officials of the Ministry of Railways, 123 stations in the country are being re-developed under the PPP model. Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) is developing these stations. Somnath station is also one of them. Presently 10 trains operate at Somnath station. This station comes under Western Railway Zone in Bhavnagar Division. There are two platforms here. There is no second entry for the station. Keeping in mind the facilities of the devotees, many changes are being made.
