Actually, the government will release the 10th installment of Sovereign Gold Bond (Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 10th Series) on the last day of February 2022. For this the issue price has been fixed at Rs 5,109 per gram.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said that investors can apply for the 10th installment of Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 till March 4, 2022.

Who will get the issue price discount?

The Reserve Bank said that investors applying online for the SGB scheme open for five days will be given a discount of Rs 50 per gram (Discount on SGB). They have to make digital payment. In other words, those applying online will get the issue price of Rs 5,059 per gram under the 10th series of the SGB scheme.

From where can you shop?

RBI will release the 10th installment of SGB on behalf of the Government of India. These bonds will be sold through all banks, Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), Post Office and National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Please tell that they are not sold in Small Finance Banks and Payment Banks.

Who can invest how much?

In the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, a person can buy a maximum of 4 kg of gold bonds (maximum investment in SGB) within a financial year. At the same time, the minimum investment (minimum investment in SGB) should be one gram. Trusts or similar entities can buy bonds of up to 20 kg in a financial year.
