new Delhi. If you are planning to travel somewhere in summer, then there is good news for you. Airline company SpiceJet is going to start 60 new domestic flights from March 27. Seven of these flights are included under the ‘UDAN’ scheme of the Central Government, will also be for such cities where there are either very few flights or there are no flights at all.
It is worth mentioning that SpiceJet is known for cheap air tickets. The airline says that keeping in mind the summer holidays, the company has decided to run 60 new flights. This will facilitate the movement of tourists as well as common people. These flights will start from March 27 and will run till October 29.

Flight will fly on these routes
SpiceJet has said in a statement that it will start eight new domestic flights, which will operate in Gorakhpur-Kanpur, Gorakhpur-Varanasi, Jaipur-Dharamsala and Tirupati-Shirdi sectors during the summer event. “The airline has added 60 new domestic flights to its schedule,” the statement said.
What is ‘UDAN’ scheme?
Under the ‘UDAN’ scheme, financial incentives are provided to selected airlines by the Central, State Governments and airport operators to encourage them to fly from such airports where there is very little operation of either Is or doesn’t happen.
Aviation regulator DGCA said last Friday that Indian airlines have increased their weekly domestic services rates by 10.1 per cent in the upcoming summer event and their number has increased from 22,980 to 25,309 as compared to the previous season.

International flights will start from March 27
Regular international flights will resume in the country from 27 March 2022 when the cases of corona are reduced. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, international flight services were stalled since 23 March 2020. However, special international flights are operating under the air bubble scheme between India and about 35 other countries since July 2020.
