new Delhi. The Indian stock market retained the gains achieved a day earlier on Wednesday as well. In the opening session itself, the Sensex-Nifty made a strong start. Buying of investors is showing an increase on both the exchanges.
The BSE Sensex started trading at 52,794 with a rise of 370 points on Wednesday morning. Nifty also rose 65 points to open at 16,078. However, later investors intensified the buying and at 9.31 am, the Sensex climbed 421 points to 53,845. Nifty was also trading at 16,133 with a strength of 120 points.

Earlier, in the pre-opening session, the Sensex had gained 601.09 points or 1.13% to reach 54,025.18. Nifty also jumped 228 points and achieved the level of 16241.50.
Strength seen in these sectors
Investors today bet fiercely on stocks related to auto, pharma, IT, power and realty. Up to 1 percent strength is visible in these sectors. BSE Smallcap and Midcap also rose up to 1 percent. Investors are also betting heavily on aviation-related stocks due to the news of international flights getting approval soon.

Asian markets also opened on the rise
Most of the markets of Asia opened on the green mark on Wednesday. There was a slight increase of 0.05 percent on the Singapore exchange this morning, but it is indicating a positive mood. Japan’s stock exchange Nikkei is also seeing a gain of 0.69 percent. Apart from this, Taiwan’s market has also opened with a big gain of 1.26 percent. The effect of this trend of Asian markets will also be seen on Indian investors.
